Temecula homeowners expect a lot from their pools. They are the center of summer weekends, family visits and backyard parties, and in Wine Country they are often part of a guest house or vacation rental. Canyon Pool Service has been taking care of Temecula pools for more than 20 years. We are a local, owner-operated company based in nearby Menifee, and we offer weekly pool cleaning, repairs and one-time cleanups across the Temecula Valley.

Weekly Pool Cleaning for Temecula Homes
Our weekly service is built around one idea: you should be able to walk outside any day of the week and get in the water. To make that happen, each visit covers the full list:
Water testing and chemical balancing
Skimming the surface and emptying baskets
Brushing the plaster, steps and tile
Vacuuming the pool floor
Inspecting the pump, filter, heater and cleaner
Reporting anything that looks wrong before it turns into a breakdown
We maintain chlorine pools, salt water pools and attached spas. If you have an automation system, we make sure the schedules match the season so the pool is filtered properly without running the pump longer than it needs to.
Local Conditions That Affect Temecula Pools
The afternoon breeze. Temecula is known for the ocean air that moves through the Rainbow Gap most afternoons. It keeps the valley cooler than its neighbors, and it also carries dust, leaves and vineyard debris straight into open backyards. Pools on the east side and in Wine Country often need their baskets and filters cleaned more often than pools in sheltered tracts.
Mineral-heavy water. Like the rest of southwest Riverside County, Temecula has hard water. Over time calcium builds up and leaves scale on tile, rock waterfalls and spa spillways. We keep the water chemistry in the range that protects your plaster and equipment, and we offer tile cleaning when the white line has already formed.
Large lots and custom pools. Many homes in De Luz, Wine Country and the Santa Rosa area have custom pools with waterfalls, infinity edges, in-floor cleaning or multiple pumps. These systems need someone who understands how the pieces work together. We service complex equipment pads as well as standard tract-home pools.
Rentals and second homes. A pool at a vacation rental has to be guest-ready every time, even when no one is checking on it between stays. We keep an eye on these pools every week and contact the owner or manager directly if we find a problem.
Temecula Pool Equipment Repair
When equipment fails, you want a clear answer about what is wrong and what it will cost. We diagnose and repair:
Pumps and motors, including variable speed pump installation
Filters of all types
Gas heaters and heat pumps
Salt systems
Automation and remote controls
Valves, actuators and plumbing
Pool sweeps and cleaners
Pool and spa lights
We also perform manufacturer warranty service, startups on new and replastered pools, leak detection, acid washes and tile restoration. Repair estimates are free.
Bringing a Neglected Pool Back
If you have bought a home with a pool that was not maintained, or your own pool got away from you, we can restore it. We start by looking at the water, the surface and the equipment, then recommend the least expensive approach that will actually work. Sometimes that is a chemical cleanup and a filter cleaning. Sometimes the water is too far gone and a drain and refill is the better value. Either way you get the price first.

How Service Works
After a free estimate, we set a regular service day for your Temecula pool. You do not need to be home; we only need access to the yard and equipment. If something needs attention between visits, such as a pump that stops or water that suddenly drops, call or text and we will help. In the cooler months, when the pool is used less, we keep the water balanced and protect the equipment so it is ready the first warm weekend of spring. Winter is also the ideal time to schedule tile cleaning, an acid wash or a drain and refill.
Temecula Pool Service Questions
Do you offer pool service in Temecula Wine Country?
Yes. We service pools throughout Wine Country and De Luz, including larger properties with custom pools, spas and water features.
Can you look after the pool at my rental property?
Yes. We maintain pools at rentals and second homes in Temecula and contact the owner or property manager directly if anything needs attention.
How do I know if my pool needs to be drained?
If the water has very high calcium or dissolved solids, will not hold chlorine, or has been green for a long time, fresh water is often the better fix. We test the water and tell you honestly whether a drain is worth it.
Do you give free estimates?
Yes. Estimates for weekly service, cleanups and equipment repairs are free. Call or text (951) 768-2972.
