French Valley sits between Murrieta, Temecula and Winchester, and it has become one of the most popular places in the area for young families to buy a home. Many of those homes have pools that get used hard from May through October. Canyon Pool Service offers weekly pool cleaning, repairs and cleanups throughout French Valley. We are a local, owner-operated company with more than 20 years of experience, and our home base in Menifee is only minutes away.

Weekly Pool Service in French Valley
With weekly service, your pool is taken care of on the same day each week and you do not have to think about it. A visit includes:
Water testing and balancing
Skimming the surface
Brushing the walls, steps, baja shelf and tile
Vacuuming as needed
Cleaning out all baskets
Monitoring the filter and cleaning it on schedule
Checking the pump, heater, salt cell and controls
Most pools in French Valley are newer and many have salt systems, attached spas and automation. We work on all of it and keep the settings where they should be.
What Affects Pools in French Valley
Family use. A pool that has kids, friends and the dog in it every afternoon needs more sanitizer than one that is used on weekends. Sunscreen, sweat and heavy use consume chlorine and can leave water looking dull. We set chemical levels for how your family actually uses the pool, and we will bump things up before a holiday weekend if you let us know.
Salt systems. Salt pools are common here, and they are not maintenance free. Salt cells collect calcium scale, especially with our hard water, and a scaled cell stops making chlorine. We inspect and clean cells, check salt and stabilizer levels and keep pH from drifting up, which salt pools tend to do.
Wind and nearby open land. French Valley has open fields, the airport and ongoing construction along Winchester Road. Afternoon wind brings dust into backyards that have little mature landscaping to block it. We keep the filter clean and the cleaner working so the dirt does not stay.
Hard water on newer finishes. Pebble and quartz finishes are durable, but hard water still leaves scale on them and on glass tile if the chemistry is ignored. Staying ahead of calcium is much cheaper than removing it later.
Smaller yards. In many tracts the equipment sits close to a bedroom window or a neighbor’s fence. A noisy pump is a real nuisance. We can quiet things down with a properly sized variable speed pump and correct programming.

French Valley Pool Service Questions
Do salt water pools still need weekly service?
Yes. Salt systems make chlorine, but the water still needs to be tested and balanced, the cell needs to be inspected and cleaned, and the pool still needs brushing, vacuuming and filter care.
My salt system says low salt or is not producing chlorine. Can you fix it?
Yes. The cause is often a scaled or worn-out cell, low salt, or a sensor or board problem. We test the system, tell you what is wrong and give you a free estimate.
Can you make my pool pump quieter?
In most cases, yes. Replacing an older pump with a variable speed model and running it at lower speeds reduces noise considerably and lowers energy use.
Do you service French Valley every week?
Yes. We are in French Valley every week and can set you up with a regular service day.
